So it’s time to pack our bags again, this time for a family trip to the US while the kids were on school holidays for Easter.
Our 15th wedding anniversary falls while we are away and given I’ve always held a secret wish to be married by an Elvis impersonator in Vegas, it seemed like a logical first stop for our holiday!
The arrival of spring in the US has seen Vegas casinos decked out with the
most amazing floral displays, which I have had a great time capturing with Glass.
With its beautiful glass poppy ceiling, it was no surprise to find that Bellagio had a beautiful spring garden set up in the lobby…
While Wynn raised the bar with a carousel made entirely from flowers.
Closely followed by this beautiful floral peacock at the shops at Crystals.
I wasn’t certain how Glass would be received in Vegas, but have been really conscious not to wear it anywhere near any of the gaming floors — not difficult as I haven’t spent much time there! I’m not a gambler and much prefer to receive something in a nice shiny shopping bag any time I hand over my cash in Vegas!
I’ve had no issues with Glass at all while here and barely any questions about it, which is most unusual!
