Today I was able to combine two of my favourite things when I took Glass along to the launch of the Gianvito Rossi shoe collection at Calexico in James St Brisbane.
Gianvito Rossi has established a name as one of the hottest shoe labels around, but with very few Australian stockists, shoe lovers here have largely been restricted to online purchases.
The news that Nicky Hendrie, owner of the über stylish Calexico boutique in Brisbane’s James St precinct had secured the label was enough to see the city’s well-shod flock to her store this morning to snap up a pair or more!
The shelves were quickly denuded, with women seated on every available surface. I was snapping some pics with Glass, and for the first time ever since I started wearing it, Glass got very little attention — everyone was far too focused on the shoes!
Of course this story wouldn’t be complete with a final pic showing off the awesome pair of shoes I secured from the range.
