This week sees Julie Willig, Grass Roots Officer for Girl Up visiting Australia for the G(irls)20 summit.
Before she heads to Sydney for the summit, Julie is visiting a number of schools in Brisbane to talk about how Girl Up is making a difference in the lives of girls all over the world, and to encourage more Australian girls to get involved.
I have written before about how my daughter and her friends love being part of Girl Up, and the benefits that the parents and teachers have seen as a result of their involvement.
If you’re interested in learning more about Girl Up and how you can be part of creating a world where all girls, no matter where they live, have the opportunity to become educated, healthy, safe, counted and positioned to be the next generation of leaders you can watch this video for a girls perspective, or this one for a parent/teacher view.
