Falling in love with autumn in NYC #throughglass

Autumn is one of my absolute favourite times to visit  New York (although let’s be clear I’ll jump at the chance to visit my favourite city in the world whenever the opportunity presents!).

You can walk all day long without wilting in the fierce heat that summer in the city delivers, but it’s not cold enough to mean that you have to struggle with taking 14 layers of clothing off and on each time you go in and out.

Those things aside, the best thing about autumn in New York is the amazing colours on display. While I love living in Brisbane with its super-mild climate, the lack of temperature change means we just don’t see much in the way of a colourful exit from summer to winter.

Walking through New York favorites Central Park and the Highline  delivers a truly stunning display and I happily snapped away with my Google Glass capturing my fall colour fix.

To cap off my seasonal colour delight, Google created this stunning #autoawesome effect with one of my pictures. This is definitely one to print out for the fridge to keep the memory fresh until we are next back in the city that never sleeps.
